This year was the 60th annual Genetics Society of America Drosophila Research Conference and the Ins and Outs Lab was well represented. Aylin, John, and Andrew traveled down to Dallas to take part in this conference and learn about the cutting edge research going on in our field. Pictured here are Andrew (left) and John (right) presenting their research at the conference. Andrew presented about the role of actin regulating genes in the development of preference for alcohol and John presented about the WNK kinase as a potassium sensor in the Drosophila tubule.
